It’s been a busy set here on the Rurals Local Policing Area but it’s been a very good shift and we’d like to share some of that good news!, our team have been out and about investigating the whereabouts and searching for our most prolific offenders with excellent results, we have successfully arrested our top 3 offenders on the Rurals with each of them being charged for multiple offences and one special person winning the top prize of a nice lengthy stay in one of our lovely prison facilities where he will not pass go nor collect £200, lovely stuff. In other news our Streetwatch scheme is thriving here in Balsall common with more and more people expressing interest in joining to help patrol their local areas, it’s a great opportunity to help be a visible presence for your local area as well as meet other residents. If you’d like to learn more than please visit the WMnow section on our webpage on how to join. We also have new dates for our local Beat Surgeries in Balsall Common and Meriden, both events are run at the local library’s during the day, whilst we understand this can be frustrating for people who wish to attend who but who are at work during the day, you can always contact us via either 101 or email the team directly at RURAL@WESTMIDLANDS.POLICE.UK please be mindful that emergencies should always be reported to us via 999 and not via email.
